about visualALCHEMY

visualALCHEMY is a collection of photographs I've taken. I work with both film and digital cameras.

The moment that opened my eyes was when I realized photography is really about what the photographer chooses to leave out of the frame. As such, I find a certain sublime beauty in both the process and in the final result - every frame represents a conscious decision to convey one idea over another. In short, it's another example of limitation as the creative impetus.
